Their operation is linked to the temperature variations of the windings in which they are inserted: in fact, as the temperature increases, they increase their ohmic resistance, that will peak in conjunction with their maximum temperature value. The sensitivity and fast reaction time make them suitable for many applications in the electronic industry, electric motors, transformers, electric machines...
