BAKELITE SHEETS – Thermal Class E 120°C

Layered insulation based on pure cellulose paper and phenolic resins.

 PROPERTIES
✔ Good dielectric characteristics

✔ Easily workable with machine tools
✔ Can be cut up to a thickness of 2 mm - cold or hot cutting depending on the type
✔ Self-extinguishing: HB UL94

APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS:
Low-voltage equipment, electrical panels, and supports.
For use in the electrical and electronics industries as electrical insulators.
Thicker thicknesses, while retaining their dielectric function, are used as supports in electrical panels, spacers, separators, and covers.
A use for this material outside of its electrical applications is for machine work surfaces: in this case, the most important characteristics are mechanical strength, flatness, and dimensional stability.

THICKNESSES AND FORMATS:
From 0.5 mm to 3 mm thickness :
2200x1220 mm or 2440x1220 mm sheets depending on availability

From 4 mm to 20 mm thick :
3050x1300 mm sheets (possibility of cutting 1:2 and 1:3)

Thicknesses 25 mm and 30 mm:
Slabs 2200x1220 mm

Larger sizes: on request

Bakelite is also available in 1000 mm tubes.
