APPLICATION TIPS

Bakelite mesh can be easily cut at room temperature up to 2 mm thick, while preheating is required for thicker materials.
Examples of uses for this thin-gauge product include washers for small electric motors, crankshaft shims, insulating vanes subjected to high bending stress, and automotive horns.
Thicker gauges are used in the production of vanes for centrifugal vacuum pumps, gaskets for connecting metal pipes, piston rings for hydraulic systems, clutch discs, bushings, slide guides, and rolling mill surfaces. Its most prestigious application is in durable, self-lubricating, and, above all, silent gears.

2440x1220 mm - 2200x1220 mm sheets (can be cut in half)

Bakelite canvas can be used to make tubes and rounds, the latter either turned from sheet metal or wrapped.
