AQUANEL® H 2001 / H 2002
Thermal class: H (180°C)
UL (Underwriters Laboratories) approved
Aquanel® H 2001 is a water-based paint based on special modified alkyd resins.
A single-component product with low VOC content that dries in air or at low temperatures.
The paint is designed for coating and protecting parts where resistance to humidity and chemical agents is required. The paint can preferably be diluted with distilled or demineralized water. For correct use of the product, it will be necessary to carefully observe the viscosity and pH value. Polymerization is oxidative and is initiated by atmospheric oxygen. It is naturally accelerated by temperature and proceeds with a rapid chain reaction until a three-dimensionally cross-linked, adhesive, and duroplastic polymer is obtained. The applied product produces a tenacious, colorless film that is resistant to general chemical agents.
Aquanel® H 2002 : red oxide version.
Recommended applications are: •
• stators and rotors of all sizes
• transformers
motors and windings
