ELMOTHERM® VF750 E1: universal impregnation paint

ELMOTHERM®VF750 E1 Mafel is a solvent-based alkyd-modified insulating paint designed for impregnating stators and transformers of various sizes. Thanks to its high bonding power even at high temperatures and its flexibility, it is suitable for all electrical machinery requiring high performance and long-lasting protection.

Main features and tropicalization

This paint stands out for its excellent protective properties, especially in harsh environments:

• tropicalizing protection: the specific formula makes it resistant to climates characterized by high temperatures and extreme humidity levels.
• Chemical resistance: Provides an excellent barrier against moisture and chemicals, including solvents, acids and bases.
• Versatile use: ideal not only for transformers, but also as a protective coating for printed circuit boards and other electrical components.

Technical specifications and performance

The technical data of the ELMOTHERM® VF750 e1 confirm the reliability of the system:

• dielectric strength: greater than 130 kv/mm (measured at 23°c after 24 hours of immersion in water).
• thermal resistance: excellent dielectric properties maintained up to temperatures above 180°C.
• water absorption: extremely low, less than 10 mg (tested at 23°c and 100°c).
• Dilution: Can be diluted with recommended thinners d107 or d127 to suit different application methods.

• Impregnation methods: Suitable for cold or hot dipping processes and for spray applications.
• Storage: Store in the original, tightly sealed containers in a cool place away from heat sources.
