EPOXYLITE® H1100 HHB D: one-component epoxy resin for impregnation
Thermal class: H (180°C)
UL (Underwriters Laboratories) approved
EPOXYLITE®H1100 D Mafel is a single-component, low-viscosity epoxy resin system specifically formulated for impregnating rotating and stationary windings. It is a 100% solids material, characterized by low emissions during thermal cure and excellent compatibility with common insulation materials.
Fields of application and advantages
Thanks to its penetrating properties, EPOXYLITE® H1100 D is ideal for:
- Rotating electrical machines: insulation of motors and generators.
- Electric drives: protection of components for industry and the automotive sector.
- Transformers: Impregnation of static windings to maximize life.
- Chemical stability: excellent resistance to solvents, transformer oils, acids and bases.
Technical specifications and performance
The system guarantees high performance even in difficult environmental conditions:
- viscosity: extremely low (250-450 mpas at 25°c), ideal for deep penetration into windings.
- Thermal class: designed for high temperature systems, with excellent retention of mechanical properties.
- dielectric strength: boasts a dielectric strength of 20 kv/mm (at 23°c).
- water absorption: extremely low, equal to 0.6-0.7% after immersion in water at 100°C.
Polymerization and storage methods
To ensure maximum performance of the material, it is necessary to follow the heat curing cycle:
- curing cycle: the standard cycle includes 16 hours at 165°C for test samples.
- Storage: the product must be stored at a maximum temperature of 25°C to preserve its chemical stability (shelf life of 6 months).
- safety: resin compliant with the latest technical regulations for reducing environmental impact.
