Dobeckan® PE820 HB

Two-component polyester resin.
High bond strength and good stability.
Dobeckan® PE 820 HB is a universally applicable system consisting of two components: resin and catalyst CT 099.
An unsaturated polyester is used as the base resin, which is characterized by excellent long-term stability and heat capacity once cured.
Since base resins are often solid or highly viscous, they are then dissolved in reactive diluents.
In this case, styrene is used because it reacts in the resulting cured material thanks to its reactive double bond.
Polymerization is initiated by heat and proceeds with a rapid chain reaction until a three-dimensional, cross-linked, duroplastic thermosetting product is obtained.
Separate delivery and storage of Dobeckan® PE 820 HB and catalyst CT 099 offer the advantage of excellent shelf life, especially with higher temperatures and longer distances during transport.
