ISONOM® NKN 0885 – Thermal Class H 180°C

ISONOM® NKN 0885 is made of Polyimide or Kapton® (Du Pont) film and it's covered on both sides with calendered Nomex®(Du Pont) type 464. Each layer of Nomex® aramid paper is 0,050 mm thick. It’s possible to obtain a wide range of laminated materials changing the thickness of the polyimide film.

Maximum working temperature:
180/200°C (IEC 60626) – H dielectric class limit
H dielectric class limit 180°C (UL 1446)

Minimum working temperature:
Nomex® -196°C / resin -60°C / Polyimide -60°C

Characteristics: Paper suitable for transformer insulation, motor slots and for all those electrical applications that require:
excellent electrical insulation - excellent mechanical resistance – excellent thermal resistance.

Availability:Rolls up to 920 mm in width, slit rolls starting from 7 mm in height, inner diameter 76 mm.
cut pieces - custom shaped and die cut pieces according to drawings and customer’s request.

Color:White (red stripes with registered trademark and blue stripes)

Processing are carried out both on insulating papers normally available in stock, and on other insulation papers on customer request.
Any type of insulating paper can be supplied as follows:
- Whole original rolls or unpacked rolls
- Rolls cut to the width required by the customer
- Edged rolls
- Fringed rolls
- Customized processing is carried out under specific customer request (e.g.: moulded, die cut...)
