Elmotherm® VA 160 is a fast-drying, solvent-based air-cured alkyd resin.
It has excellent electrical characteristics and is “anti-tracking".
Hardening occurs in the presence of atmospheric oxygen and proceeds with a rapid chain reaction until a highly bonded and duroplastic three-dimensional polymer is obtained.
Protects all metal surfaces from oxidation. It is the ideal paint for impregnating small and medium-sized transformers, coils, stators, and various types of windings where rapid air drying is required. The product can also be used for coating and protecting printed circuit boards. To thin this paint, we recommend using D 100 thinner.
