Elmotherm® VA 177 HV is a very fast-drying vinyl polymer-based paint. It has excellent electrical characteristics and is anti-tracking. Curing occurs in the presence of atmospheric oxygen and proceeds with a rapid chain reaction until a highly bonded, hard-plastic three-dimensional polymer is obtained. It protects all metal surfaces against oxidation and is the ideal paint for impregnating small and medium-sized transformers, coils, stators, and various types of windings where rapid air drying is required. The product can also be used for coating and protecting printed circuit boards. Thinner D 103 is recommended for cleaning this paint.
